After two years, Oberlin student Martina Novajas returned to her hometown of Rengo in Chile in January 2023. She brought back this audio portrait of a place and its people, seen through her interest in environmental issues. All the interviews were recorded in Spanish but are accompanied by English translations and summaries narrated by Novajas. 

Students from Oberlin College's Journalism Basics course put their finger on the campus' pulse regarding local and national issues. These issues include the rise of AI technologies, local sustainability, tobacco use on campus, and the 2024 presidential election.
